My clinical approach to therapy is to support my clients and allow them
to take the lead during sessions without interrupting their process
of self-discovery. I believe core beliefs that support irrational
thinking contribute to self-defeating behavior that prohibits goal
achievement and living a desirable life. My goal is to help
individuals develop a plan to address maladaptive symptoms by
examining how their beliefs influences their emotions, and behavior.
Though my approach to therapy gives me the option of treating a
myriad of challenging issues, my specialties and training include
helping individuals who struggle with depressive, anxiety, trauma and
substance use disorders. I also utilize behavioral therapies to help
individuals struggling with weight-loss and maintenance issues.
